Transport Question

We have brand new System with DEV, QA, Prod XI systems with respective SLDs. So there are 3 SLDs and 3 XI environemnts. We like to use File based transport to move from one to other.

Since we have design objects ready to be transported to QA, What setup has to be done in QA SLD ?. How to Copy Software Components from DEV SLD to QA SLD ?. We donot have basis person and as a Developer I need to do that.

Do we have to setup Transport targets for all components ? Pl note we have 3 different SLDs for 3 environments.

If we have to Import Software components from DEV SLD to QA SLD, what other steps needs to be followed?

Hi,

As you have separate SLDs, you need to set up transport targets first. Then you need to do import/export.

btw, are you planning to with File import/export method or CMS way of transporting?
