Installing NW_Intallation_Master\IM_WINDOWS_I386 .. sapinst.ext giving erro

hello friends,

i am installing SAP Netweaver o4s . once i click sapinst.exe file , the UI appears thne suddenly SAPInst window comes displaying following message ..

<b>guiengine: call to bind() for socket 21200 1800 failed . No error

103 guiengine.connection.failed 21200, 881

Exit status of child: 1</b>

what might be the issue

Hi

we completed all step follows:

- Install Java SDK 1.4.2_09

- Set environment variables

- Installed a DB

- Logged in as OS Administrator

but when ran sapinst.exe system show error abow

Hi,

maybe your java_home is simply wrong.

Use X:\j2sdk1.4.2_xx as java_home value.

In path, use %JAVA_HOME%\bin
