What are the requirements for PI 2004s?
Java version - is J2SDK 1.5 compatible?
I installed PI 2004s on J2SDK14212, Windows 2000, DB2, 2GB RAM, 10 GB paging file.
Install is successful. But the SAP log on page does not load?
Please advise.
Thanks,
Bhaskar
reinstalled the system

Hi Bhaskar,
If it is that you are having problems loading your XI home page, please go through the information below.........
Just see if this is the problem:
login as XISUPER and then go to,
Exchangeprofile ->node->Connections->com.sap.aii.connect.repository.name
Here it shoud be the "hostname of the repository server" I guess
Also go through the following links:

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/1688 [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken]

Did I say I have trouble loading the XI home page.
NO.
What I am saying is that the SAP ABAP itself is not loading.
How do you log into SAP?
Theorugh SAP GUI right?
So I enter teh config parameters for my server in SAP logon PAD and then click on log on , it simply hangs with progress indiactor.
Nothings comes up.
Hope this is clearer.
Also I am talking about PI 2004s and Not XI3. So the guide that you attached does not relate to PI 2004s.
Thanks,
Bhaskar

PI 2004s has much the same requirement as 2004. JDK 1.4.2 is still used.
The only difference between 2004s and 2004 is the SLD. 2004s has a new, although not better, GUI for the SLD.

Bill
