During SLD connection getting error: CIM_ERR_ALREADY_EXISTS

Hello Forum,

I am trying to create a new technical system in sld.

Initially this was created successfully but then i had to remove it as the msg server port number was not correct.

Now when i am trying to create again i am getting the error:

CIM_ERR_ALREADY_EXISTS: Instance already exists.

i had deleted all the related JCo connections.

What else have I to do to solve this problem?

Hi Mickey,

Try deleting Technical system from SLD which you created and create a technical system again.

thanks for reply.

I had tried doing this only...removing the system from sld and re-creating it.

Then only i am getting this error.

IS there any other palce where this information is stored and i have to delete that?

Hi,

Try this:

1. Open http://<yourserver>:<port>/sld

2. Navigate to content maintenance

3. Navigate to subset: landscape definition

Class JCO message server destination & JCO application server destination

Delete everything that doesn't belong there.
