In our project we have designed a new categorization for the materials. R/3 backend systems do not reflect this new categorization, i.e. the material group values in R/3 are different than the categories that we have designed. And these material group values will not be modified on R/3 according to our new categorization. Giving an example:
Material X has material group "Brand XXX Glass" on R/3. But we want this material to have the category "Indirect Material - Glass" on SRM.
We know that as a standard SRM takes the material group as the category. In our case we need to modify these categories/material group values coming from R/3. Does anyone know about the modification of categories replicated from R/3? Which BAdIs do we need to modify? (We are using Classic and Extended Classic Scenario)
