please tell me .. is mandatory to create tcp/ip connections SAPSLDAPI and LCRSAPRFC in R/3 side ??

hello ram,

as far as my knowledge yes it's mandatory , u can check whether u r connection to sld works or not without SAPSLDAPI.

Hi

You actualy need these destinations if you only use ABAP proxies in your business system (R/3) . If for example you use your R/3 just to send IDOCs to XI you dont need these RFC

Yes.

The r/3 system talks to the SLD using these RFC destinations.
