Accessory Product using SUBTABLE

Dear MDM Gurus,

Has anyone done a scenario wherein there were products which are accessories.I saw some info in some documentation about using subtable for the same.

Kindly let me know how to accomplish the same.

I haven't done this yet, but it's on the cards. We're planning to use the relationships in MDM to do the "linking" of a main product to its accessories. In our situation the accesories are stored in the main table, so the relationship is from the main table to itself.

You could use a subtable which is just a "key mapping" table (product key and the accessory key) and then manage that manually (e.g. through the API). If you do, make sure your keys are set as "write once" in your repository to assist in maintaining referential integrity.
