Dear MDM specialists,
What is the maximum length of text that can be accomodated in an "Attribute".
Is there any way of importing text from a file.
Thanks.
Hari
The maximum length for a text attribute value is 128 characters.
When importing into your main table (Data Manager import), the import process will prompt you when it finds text attribute values that are not present in your taxonomy (skip, add, etc.)
It looks like importing attributes into a taxonomy is not (completely) possible with the Data Manager's import. Use the Import Manager instead.

Hi Hari,
of course you can import text from a file directly into the attribute. e.g. just with the normal data load. Just map the source field to the target attribute and the value will be added.
