No organizational data exists on item level (error message)

Hello everybody,

I still have this error message when try to create a shopping cart : 'No organizational data exists on item level'

Following a lengthy discussion with SAP Support, SAP recommended that I remove the reference of the Purchasing Organization and Purchasing Group to the backend system (R/3).

After removing the reference I was able to complete the SC creation process, but I got an error at the PO creation process, where I am unable to release the PO since it is not linked to a backend (R/3) Purchasing Organization/Group.

I am currently using SRM 4.0 with EBP 5.0 in Extended Classic Scenario.

I need an Urgent help on this issue !!

Thanks,

Lina

Hello Marcin,

I have added an entry in SYS attrib with a local EBP system.

I inform you that all my Purch Org/ Grps are set up correctly with reference to the backend system.

Hello Marcin,

My customizing seems to be Ok regarding your comments.

The only differences are the follwing attributes :

-BSA attrib. = R3DCLNT700\ZCS

I mention that ZCS is my PO document type in SRM and in R/3

- SYS attrib. = backend system

I mention that I have added an entry for the local system, but it didn't change anything

-product cat. = * and source system = Backend system.

Do I need to add a reference to the local system?

Lina

Hi,

If You have own PO document type (ZCS) then don't hange it.

in SYS attrib add a local EBP system

If you don't use local categories, You don't need to add product cat. * for local system.

in my ppoma_bbp company have two purch orgs.

-for local (fields with purch org and system id is empty)

-for backend (fields with purch org is filled from backend system.)

Example:

Company (function with company code PW01\R3100)

- Purch org local (function purch. org. checked but not filled)

- Purch group local (function purch. group checked bud not filled)

- Purch org backend (function purch. org. checked with values PZ1\R3100)

- Purch group backend (function purch. group checked with values PZZ\R3100)

Hello Lina,

check in PPOMA_BBP following things:

-for Your company: company code and system id on tab Function. (proper values: backend company code (eg. PW01)and backend system id (eg. R3100))

- for company attributes:

- ACS attrib. = backend system (R3100)

- BSA attrib. = backend system\EC (R3100\EC)

- BUK attrib. = backend system\company code (R3100\PW01)

- SYS attrib. = backend system and local system (R3100)

- for purchasing group:

- check responsibility for product category:

- product cat. = * and source system = R3100 and local SRM system

- check responsibility for organisation (You must have Your company in that list)

- for your user check if You have maintained locations and storgage locations in Extendend Attrib. Tab.
