regarding printing an circle in smartforms

Hi,

i want to print an circle in the smartform.

i had tried to draw the circle in MSword, word painter,

and upload it as bmp file and used it as graphic in the smartform but it is coming distorted. so please help if you know the solution.

Hi,

Try printer commands. (Its an workaround but you can achieve).

For HP it is

CI r [,b]; circle

Feel free to revert back

i have tried with the same shading in the other form(new form just for testing not exact thing but box inside boX is displayed) where it is coming fine. but the one where i have done the required layout its not coming.

and also can you please brief on how to upload test.tiff file.

I dont how to use PCL command but i have used the Image upload through the se78

but still distortion is there.

can you please tell me regarding PCL command.

Hi Priya,

Try to change the DPI(dots per inch) of the bitmap in

Technical attributes of the logo in graphics node of the

logo.

And try to take printout see wether it is the same in printout also.

Thank you for the answer distortion is reduced but still there. and each time i increase the DPI size of the graphic decreases.

i am also having problem that if i creat a window inside another window i have a problem that some times i can display the contents(mainly graphics) but some times it doesn't come what might be the cause.

actually inside the same window i have created 2 other window each contains the different graphic.

when i see the preview only one graphic is seen the other one is not seen.

it window size is also big enough to print the graphic as i check it separately in other form with same size.

there is no difference in the window settings also as i have copied the same window which is working fine and just changed the positions.

please let me know if any remedy is there

Hi Vidya,

While uploading the bit map from se78 , consider that DPI , there also DPI option is there.

Try to select more DPI while uploading . And however circles will come distorted in printpreivew.

And try to take printout on paper and check.

And regarding second question.

Is 2 windows are overlapping or separate ?.

If it is separate , both shud display.

Just check any condition is given in the condition tab

of the graphic.

i am not having option to increDPI at thetime of uploading. and abt my second problem

i am not having the windows overlaying its side by side.

i set have all the setting same in both windows.

actually i want shading in my form

so i have a bigger window with that shade that shade inside it i have to print these graphics. one is coming fine but the othere is not

Hi ,

Use program RSTXLDMC to upload the BIT map,

before that convert it into .TIFF format.

There you have the option sto set the DPI,

And regarding second try to remove the shade of the window and then test whether it is coming, if it comes ,

then reduce the saturation percenatge (shade percent).
