I was wondering what are the main disadvantages/advantages of using multiple local webdynpro projects vs DC projects?
After upgrading to SP17, there is a warning message that says that local projects are for demo and test purposes only.
Does this mean the code will take a performance hit? Or are the inability to use NWDI and share code across projects the main drawbacks?
Hi,
The project type "Web Dynpro Project" was developed before SAP had any development infrastructure software. The drawback with this type of project is that it behaves like a sealed, non-reusable container. You cannot export this type of a project to a source/version control system like the DTR. So avoid using them.
