Hi all,
is it possible to configure or implement a password blacklist policy do prevent users setting some specific words (e.g. "test" or their own name" as (part of) the password when using UME?
I did not find any configurable parameters about that, only using userID as password can be disabled ..
Any best practices how to implement that? (using EP on NW04 SP16)
Best regards,
Martin
Hi Martin,
Check out <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/b5/16c43bdd3da244a1d3372a77b5f83f/frameset.htm">this</a> help.sap page. It lists the ume properties. A property to prevent user ID to be a part of password is available. Or a property to prevent the same password when a change is done. Such properties.
And <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/0b/50ad3e1d1edc61e10000000a114084/content.htm">here</a> you can find how to change the properties.
Hope it helps.
Regards,
Christophe
