Analyzing on Performance Data

Hi,

we are currently experiencing some challenges for the global rollout of XI.

One crucial thing is sizing.

In order to tackle that we want to do some deep analyses of the traffic inside XI (no. of msgs, msg size, computation time ...)

For that we either want to write our own composite or use BI for doing some analyses.

But before we can start we need to get the data.

Do you have any idea how we could extract the data from the performance monitoring?

Does anyone ever did sth. like that and has some good advise for us?

Thanks in advance,

helge

Hi,

Performance Monitoring is an important thing in SAP XI interfaces...

You need to extimate earlier at the design phase once and after the development...

At the initial phase you need to talk with the BI and endusers regading how many times this particular interface is used in a day means number of clicks by enduser and what is the peak number of clicks ....

In the design you need to think how to develop the interface wheather its A2A or BPM involved....if BPM involves in then performance decreases but in that also following some steps you can increase......

Helge,

The best thing what you can do is login into service market place and go to quick sizer. Then it prompts for your requirements. After you enter your requirements it comes with the sizing what you would require. Go through this urls which would definitely help you:
