Hello Sri,

Great to hear that the issue is solved.

May be the users had one single different role. I guess when your talking about profiles you are mentioning roles only. May be you missed out on one role. On the other hand there can be issues with buffer also.

Hello Sri,

This is a bit surprising. May be still it is an authorization issue.Do one thing. Check if the user not able to locate the printer has authorization object S_SPO_DEV assigned to his profile with the required printer name given in it. You can your self do a check using SU56 transaction.

Also Barry's point is very much valid. Ask users to do a blank check without giving any printer name in the printer input field.

Regards.

thanks ruchit n barry

ruchit,

the problem is solved with the suggestion u gave but how is it possible for that auth obj value could be diffrent for the two users when they both were assigned the same profile. is it possible for the value to have got changed while assigning the authorization itself.

regards,

Are both users searching for the printer using the same case (case sensitive search)?

Example:

If one is searching for a printer: CHIEST07A

it will not be found if searching for chiest07a
