email with PDF attachment

Hi all,

I am facing an issue while sending PDF attachment through email. I am able to send the PDF attachment, but not able to view the contents in the PDF. It is in Japanese font. But the same code is working fine for English language. Is this related to font issue or do i need to add any other logic for sending PDF attachment for other languages.

I HAVE CALLLED FUNCTION MODULE 'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1' FOR SNDING AN EMAIL

BUT I AM NOT ABLE TO SEND AN EMAIL....PLEASE TEL ME DETAIL PROCEDURE

Japanese is a double-byte language... not sure if it's taken into account when you convert to PDF or send your email. Are you on a unicode system btw ?

Hi sirahei,

I am not on unicode system. Anyways the problem is solved. The problem was with font only. Need to install japanese font software. Issue is solved.

Can you please tell me how you resolved the problem?

I have Japanese characters in my SmartForm and the preview is correct but in pdf (send by email) is only junk.
