Greek characters replaced by ###

Hi all,

I want to create master data using the idoc adapter from XI to an R/3 (46D-620). Everything is OK except the greek descriptions. The Greek characters are replaced with ###. I can't find a solution. Is there anyone who can help? Thanks...

Hi,

How it looks in XI ? Is it looks #### in XI ?

If so, try to replace greek character by normal character in XI, before sending to R/3.

No in XI everything is OK.

The XML in monitoring has greek chracters

Hi,

The error is because ur system is not unicode and hence not able to conver the Greek charachters correctly.

Also, if your are using file adapter then file encoding needs to be: ISO-8859-1

Yes, I know these things.

I solve my problem by activating the flag 'Use Found Communication Code Page' in transaction SM59...
