hi:
I have a bpm scenario which involes multiple transformation, sync send, async send steps.
I need to know a formula for keeping in mind when configuring ID when a BPM is involved. Its is straight forward way of doing it when there is no BPM. But i get confused when a BPM is involved. Pls provide your suggestions.
Thanks
HI,
Interms of Configuration, you need to note these
1) Source to BPM - Reciever Determination
2) BPM to Target - Reciever Determination
and Same number of Interface determination. And also note that, as you are not using any communication channels /direction in the BPM (i.e Abstract Interfaces) , no need to have Sender Agreement when you are sending data from BPM to any place and no need to have Reciever Agreement, when you receive the message in BPM.

Hi Aarthi,
Its simple when ever there is a Send step in a BPM you need to have a Receiver determination with BPM as the sender service and the respective receiver Business service/system. Simillarly if there is a receiver step there need to be a receiver determination with the Business system/service that is sending data as a Sender service and BPM as the receiver service.
And you know if there is a Receiver determination you need to have a interface determination and so on. I think you are aware that there is no need for a receiver agreement is the receiver service is a BPM.
Hope you are ok with this...

Prakash

Hi Prakash:

Is this applicable for both async SEND & sync SEND?
For a sync send, we need to have sender agreement,Receiver agrrement, intf deter & receiver detremination . and for async send just receiver determination . am i right?

No need for a sender agreement in case of Async and Sync both the cases.
check out this blog it has a send step to RFC and that dose'nt need any sender agreement
