Deleting files from DTR

Hi,

We created a DC with a webService (named – HSSPPEProcessorVi), deleted and re-created a new webService with the same name but in different case (named – HSSPpeprocessorVi). We found that the webservice (HSSPPEProcessorVi)was not properly removed from the DTR( it still kept vicheck), and it also created this new webService with the same name. We could successfully activate this new version.

When we tried to check out this DC., it gave us ‘name clash’ error thus not allowing to create this DC on the other system.

Action we took:

1. We tried deleting the file ‘HSSPPEProcessorVi .vicheck’ through Repository Browser, but found that this option is disabled.

2. We cannot delete the webService ‘HSSPpeprocessorVi’, as it is been used in many places in WebDynpro.

Could you let us know how can we remove this file ‘HSSPPEProcessorVi .vicheck’ from the DTR?

Did you use a dedicated DTR client or a client generated by NWDS during Development Configuration import?

A dedicated DTR client has more privileges.
