Error while installing WAS 6.40

Hi All,

I am trying to install SR1 release of NW04. During the first step of installation i am getting an error.

Error 5 (Access is denied.

) in execution of a 'RegOpenKeyEx' function, line (67), with parameter (SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\EraserUtilRebootDrv).

Hello,

Please check u r Hostname is not contaiing any Hyphen in name.

Also check that u u user have a sufficient permission in u r system for installation.

Hi Prakash,

Just a suggestion.

Make sure u are installing with administrator's rights user.

Antivirus such as Norton , Mcafee should not be install during installation.

i hope u have checked all the prerequisites before installing.
