How to install SAP DI on existing NW 2004s installation?

Hello,

I have NW 2004s system with following components:

SAP ABAP

SAP Java

SAP PI

I want to add DI component on existing NW 2004s installation. How to do it? Standard SAPinst program has no needed functions.

I have installed DI CBS, DI DTR and DI CMS components on my SAP WebAS 700 server, but I have no template "DI Postinstallation template" in the NWA template installer. I have only PI and NWA templates.

I have installed DI components via SDM.

Hi Eugene,

You must not run the template installer when adding new usage types! SAP Note 883948 describes how to install additional usage tupes to an existing SAP NetWeaver 2004s system.
