Hi Naveen,

It is same as you define anyother BS and TS. Except you need to select the ROLE as Integration Server instead of Application System while defining the BS. And you also need to give the pipeline url.

Check out this config guide for XI.

What would the TS type be, WebAS ABAP or WebASJava.

I am really confused.

In the note 809420, it was WebASJava but some where else I have seen otherwise.

Hi,

In general it is WebAS ABAP. May be the note is given for solving some other problem.

Every One,

In tech land scape of SLD, I see a tech system of type WebAS ABAP.

I am creating a BS, in the Pipeline URL,

what should be the port number

J2EE or HTTP

I am also confused which is which.

50000 is J2EE or HTTP

or 8000 is J2EE or HTTP.

Is there any logic for this to understand

Hi,

It should be HTTP port number which you can find from transcation SMICM Goto-->Serivces

This should be same as the service number in the RFC destination in INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI.

The pipe URL should be the same as in

SXMB_ADM> Int. Configuration...stuff. right?

Hi,

Do not go with RFC destination in INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI. It might be the same but you have to give the HTTP port that you find in SMICM.

>>>The pipe URL should be the same as in

SXMB_ADM> Int. Configuration...stuff. right?

Hmm yes actually it should be the otherway round. The SXMB_ADM URL should be same as pipeline URL. But anyways both are same.
