layout not show

hi all,

i hv download netweaver 04 (trail version) from net. i start to learn SAP INTERACTIVE forms (PDF-BASED print form), firstly built a interface than a FORM, after that i want to edit that form add layouts but when i clicked on layout it gave me a error message "COULD NOT START LAYOUT DESINGER(SEE LONG TEXT)".

can u plz tell me that what is the problem and how to resolved it.

Hi,

Yes, you require to install <b>A</b>dobe <b>L</b>ife <b>C</b>ycle <b>D</b>esigner on your desk/lap-top.

You can get to know if <i>ADLC</i> is installed by checking for file <b>FormDesigner</b> in the following folder <i>C:\Program Files\Adobe\Designer 6.0</i>

If it is not there, please do install it.

How can i get Adobe Life Cycle Designer....?

I too want to install it on my system.

PLease upgrade to al least Designer 7.0, better even 7.1 (in NW04 from SPS 18)

I have installed ALCD and now i can open the layout designer in SFP. But when I try to run it or save changes made in the layout i get error "Error when transforming object data". And it throws me out of the transaction.

Have any of you encountered such issue? PLease advise.

Are you working with the ABAP- or the Java-version?

While trying to work with the ABAP-version at an IDES system I had the same problem and it was solved by installing the Adobe LiveCycle Designer at my laptop (not at the server).
