printing problem

hi friends

i have a problem while printing . the output request status shows that the job has been completed but the printer is printing the paper without any prints on the sheet.it prints only the white paper can any one help me.

iam working on neteaver ecc 6.0

Hello,

If it is front end printer then can u pelase paste the output of Print command of SAPLPD over here for more diagnosis of the problem.....

The main reason most of the time is either of this two:

(1) The printer name contain space (if this is the cse remove the space and fire the print again)

(2) The printer name is more then 40 character (if this is the case then reduce its size lower then 40 characters)

Just try to check the above two errors....

Again it depends on the error u got in Log file....

Few scenarios might help:

1) Are you using front-end printing with SAPLPD or sappfprint? Both of these refer to SAPGUI front-end printing. You will see detailed log in SP01 spools. For the front-end printing now you will see spool transfer through window printer popup. This is type of access method “F”.

2) If you are using output device printing with server printing “E” (OMS) you can trouble with output management tools.

For all access methods the detail log is available for the failed or successful spool. Please verify the same.
