Hi All,
In R/3,we have got BAPIs,RFCs and IDOCs
Wich one would be better to interact with EAI tool
Eg:i have got a case like..
i have to integrate some data to any other third party system
Is it better to use IDOCs or BAPIs or RFCs
Eg: we have got DEBMAS IDOC to transfer to XI..
But,we do have the same in BAPI also .which one would be better .
Can u plz guid me in this..
Cheers,
Raghavesh
Hi Raghavesh,
If it is standard transactions you can go for IDOC. In case, if there is customization, then go for Proxies.

Hi,
Summarizing,
When WAS >= 6.20 and the load is extremely high and you need perfromance , use Proxies.
When standard IDoc available and perfromance not critical and load not very high, you can use Idoc adapter.
if no strandard Idoc is available and you need to make a synch call , use RFC adapter.
