Cannot start JSPM

Hi ,

I have installed NW2004S SR1 and want to install SP07. I have downloaded all the required SP files, when I start JSPM (go.bat) I get an error "You must be a SIDadm to run this program".

Can somebody help me resolve this error?

Hello,

If you are using windows operating system then u must have to first login to windows with the use of <SID>adm and password at login level...

be sure that for any SAP related functions u have to login through that user only....

Anything else then tell me...

I think u didnot login with SID user, through which u installed NW2004s.

Can you please tell me where do I login as a SID user? When I go to the directory /urs/sap/<SID>.../JSPM/go.bat

there is no prompt for entering login details.

HI Suma,

What actually i was trying to say that to login in windows with Sid adm user, may be it is the reason for that message.
