Intro page everytime we print (Data Statistics & Number of Records Passed)

Everytime we print to the two SAP printers at the Finance department, it keeps on printing this introductory page (numbers vary):

Number of

-

---

Records passed

4

-

---

We want to have this removed. How do you remove this introductory page? It keeps on coming out before every report everytime we print from SAP.

Hi,

I got it..

If it is ALV report output..

When you give the print parameters..

In the "cover sheets" section..

Uncheck the "Alv statistics" checkbox..So that it will not print the ALV statistics..

Thanks for the help. I think this solved the problem. The following steps were performed that contributed to the resolution:

1.) Clicked on the Print icon

2.) In the "Print ALV List" window, clicked "Properties".

3.) In the "Spool Request Attributes", went to "Cover Sheets" then "ALV Statistics", then unchecked it to set it to "No".

4.) Saved settings.

We printed and the intro page didn't come out anymore.

Is there a way to set ALV Statistics to default to "not selected" for all users? By default, it is selected and we are not wanting this to print. It is somewhat tedious to turn it off each print and if we could set this for all users quickly, that would be an advantage.

Hi,

Is all the reports are ALV reports..

Then in the when you run the report and print the default header will come..

If it is custom program you can, I believe you can modify the layout to supress this..

But for STANDARD SAP programs..I am not sure..

From how I see it, I think the problem is not with the reports because it comes out to any report

Perhaps there might be a SAP GUI configuration or a setting that has to be turned off to prevent this intro page from coming out.

The users in Finance need help on how to get rid of this intro page:

Thanks for the prompt reply Naren.

The introductory page prints out anytime we print from SAP from any report we send to the SAP printers.

Before I posted this problem, we've found out that it was not a printer issue because we tried to print from a Windows application (Excel) and the intro page never came out.

But when we try to print from SAP, an intro page keeps on coming out with this:
