I am in need of SAP INISTALLATION procedure for 4.72 over windows 2003 and oracle 9.0.2,

I am getting same error as i am trying to follow procedure from installation of 4.71 over 2000 and oracle 8i. I believe i am missing one step and thats where some files are missing,

Please help me in getting the procedure pdf files for 4.72 over windows 2003 and oracle 9.0.2, I shall be really greatful to you, I need this installation to be done so as to prepare for exam and be in job,

hello Srinivas,

Please check the installation guide at SAP Marketplace. It is the best possible documentation IMHO.

Please visit:

https://websmp102.sap-ag.de/instguides

Then select SAP Components---> SAP R/3 Enterprise.

Select the appropriate node for you and then in the list of installation guides that come up choose the one that is for your Database and OS combination. infact you should always provide this info.

Hi,

Yes you need a user-id/password to get to the installation guides. The SAP Service Marketplace user-ids are available for all customers - you should talk to your system administrator about getting a user-id - he/she can create them.

BTW, IDES is a free education system for SAP Customers.

The point here is i am installing the software in my home pc.. And my administrator never comes to employees house to install the software. I have to do it on my own. I have enquired with administor to create user id and password for this Market place. He says he is helpless in this.

there is no other option to me except NET. I am sorry for this but this is true. If u can help me with user id and password I will be very happy. Atleast intial dfficulties wont be there.
