RWB Alert Configuration - Connection timed out

Hello all,

I've the following error when trying to start Alert Configuration in RWB :

500 Connection timed out

Error: -5

Version: 7000

Component: ICM

Date/Time: Fri Oct 27 11:20:19 2006

Module: icxxthr_mt.c

Line: 2646

Server: frdbs40_DN3_89

Error Tag: {-}

Detail: Connection to partner timed out after 60s

Any idea ?

P.S. :

- SICF services are active

- Steps in ALRTCATDEF correctly done

- I've followed note 750287

Hi,

It says 500 Connection timed out,

1) Can you try Re-starting the JAVA Stack.

2)ST22 check out any Dump.

3) In RWB .. Component Monotring..check the Cache connectivity test...is all are Green ( Glowing )

Thanks It's ok.

I've check dumps => no one.

Restart Java instance

Test cache connectivity => All green

Now it's ok.

I thins restarting java stack was the solution.

Great, Restarting the JAVA Stack resolves couple of Issues in JAVA Stack. have a nice day and week too.

i have now the very same issue, but restarting java stack didnt solve.

Any other ideas greatly appreciated.

Jean,

Did you just activate the SICF servies? If yes, it takes sometime for the changes to be reflected and to be able to see the Alert Configuration Window.

Just try after some time, or try to open Alert Config in a new browser window.

I just test it again and the result is the same.

I could have seen that the section Alert Inbox carries out the same result too.

All other sections of RWB (Message monitoring ...) work properly !

If I test SICF service : sxms_alertrules

I have the following error :

BSP Exception: Das Objekt default.htm in der URL /sap/bc/bsp/sap/sxms_alertrules/default.htm?sap-client=100&sap-sessioncmd=open ist nicht gültig.

I don't know what I can do.
