I used the RegistryCleaner tool several times, rebooted
every time and keep getting the same error, Installation
Pre-Check fail "Installation detected an existing SAP
system NSP on your PC, Please uninstall it and try again".
This is most annoying.
Any help Please !
Prasad, even when using the clean-up tool you still have registery entries refering to your previous installation. Only solution I have successfully deployed is manually go through registery and search for all entries related to SAP and MaxDB en remove these manually. Tiest.

Hi,
there's also a SAPDB/MaxDB tool to clean the Registry of SAPDB/MaxDB remnants: see note <a href="https://websmp104.sap-ag.de/~form/handler?_APP=01100107900000000342&_EVENT=DISPL_TXT&_NNUM=572836&_NLANG=EN>">572836</a>
The instance itself must be dropped aswell before the uninstall can be completed.

Hello Friends:
I forgot to update the thread.
I solved it, in this way.
The install is complaining that there is already some
install existing because it is able to see the services
created by the previous install which are still in the
windows services. The uninstall could not remove the
services. To remove the services you need to go to the
registry, and remove the entries.(Please google to find how to remove the services entries by editing the registry
, because I did the same, and I could not remember the way how I did it)
Thanks,
PRasad
