ECC 5.0 Print form question

Hi,

Since I could not find a forum for Adobe print forms, I am posting my question here. If this is not the forum, please advise as to where I should post this.

We are live on ECC 5.0, Basis release 640.

Since Adobe print forms are supported as of ECC 5.0, we are in the process of designing the conversion of our existing sales output documents (Invoice, Order Confirmation, Bill of Lading, Shipping Notice) to Adobe forms (Transaction SFP).

When we go to the IMG in output determination to assign our developed forms, we only see place holders for SAPScript or Smartforms, but nothing for Adobe forms.

How can we assign Adobe forms to output determination?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ramesh

I don't know your exact print requirements, but be aware of SAP Notes <a href="http://service.sap.com/_{form/handler?_APP=01100107900000000342&_EVENT=DISPL_TXT&_NNUM=863893&">863893</a> and <a href="http://service.sap.com/}form/handler?_APP=01100107900000000342&_EVENT=DISPL_TXT&_NNUM=735050&">735050</a>.

863893 states that the solution is not released for high-volume printing, and 735050 states that in myERP 2004 SAP only delivered a few sample forms, but doesn't support the use of these SAP-delivered forms in production. This may mean that they also didn't implement all the features required for output determination. I suggest you create a customer message on the component(s) that corresponds to the one where you want to use the forms.

I am unable to view Note 735050.

It says 'An SAP note with the number requested could not be found.'.

Is it a different number or has the number changed?

Note 863893 also makes a reference to note 735050, but it cannot be found in the Notes search.

I am still seeing the same problem.

I tried to download the note using SNOTE transaction in our system and this is what I got

I enquired. It seems that the Note was recently changed and isn't translated into English yet. Only when that happens, will you be able to see the Note in English.
