how to know my OS is 32 bit or 64 bit ?

Even from sap ST06 also you would get some useful information...
ST06 -

<b>Windows</b>
go to my computer->properties ->advanced->environment variables ->system variables->Processor_Architecture
<b>Solaris</b>
run /usr/bin/isainfo -kv
You should be able to recognize in the output if is 32 or 64bit
<b>Linux</b>
run uname -m
The output will read x86_64 for 64-bit and i686 or similar for 32-bit.
