Scrolling fields displayed as full via Webconsole

Hi ,

I am developing transactions for use with RF guns(Symbol) via Webconsole.However,in some of the transactions,i have designed a field such as Storage Bin as a scrolling field with visible screen size 5 but however actual defnintion 10 characters long.When i execute the program on the desktop,Only the first 5 characters of the bin field are displayed.

But,when i execute the same transaction via SAP webconsole,the bin field is displayed as the actual length of the field not taking into consideration the visible length definition.This is causing my transaction data being displayed on the RF gun to be out of alignment.

We are using Webconsole at the client and working on ECC 6.0.

Are there any settings to be maintained on the Webconsole administrator to display the scrolling fields to the visible length only.

Hi Rajiv,

I am also running into exactly the same problem as you described.Was wondering if you found a sloution to this.
