Hi,
which tool would you recommend to loadtest a Web Dynpro application?
Regards,
Heiko
Hi Heiko
We used Mercurys loadrunner and it worked without a hitch and gave excellent metrics also. See product details for more info. You will have to raise probably an OSS message to obtain Web Dynpro specific settings such as switching on compression etc to obtain exact results.

Hi,
There are indeed a lot of tools. At http://www.fuzzywebmaster.com/results/website-tools/2/web-application-stress-tool.html, you'll find also an overview of stress test tools for web application servers.

Has anyone tried either eCATT or loadrunner with an Adobe interactive form inside of a webdynpro app yet? We are getting ready to, but won't be ready for about 2 - 3 weeks. Any advice or comments would be appreciated.

So it seems that any webapplication loadtest tool could be used to test Web Dynpro apps. Please allow me one further question: Does the sneak preview of the SAP WAS include the Netweaver eCATT plugin?
Thank's,
Heiko

You can use SAP's eCATT. You can record your application from within Developer Studio by clicking on the record from your context menu and load this into eCATT.
