How retrieve portal user's id and name to text fields in input form?

I want to automatically retrieve the logged in user's user id, name, etc. from portal to use these values as input values in a form.

How do I either set these up as default values in a form's text fields, or to send the values as background values to a data source?

Hi

You can add the user data connector to the model. You will then be able to access the user data from any field.
