CCMS Configuration

Hi all,

We did all the configurations needed for the CCMS activity. We are facing problem like the alerts which are seen in RZ20 are not pushed to alert inbox. But when we define alert categories in transaction ALRTCATDEF and assign fixed recipients and run the program RSALERTTEST alert is being triggered to alert inbox. Kindly suggest what can be done to rectify the existing problem.

for Information we are doing this activity on WAS640 XI3.0 SP15

Hi Bhavesh,

checked the RFC destinations and its working fine.and also i checked the dumps with all users but dint find any.can u please give me all the configurations steps required for setting up CCMS.this helps in finding if i have missed out any steps.

Thankyou for your quick response.

i had gone through the note u suggested.In the FAQ part Q8 is related to the issue which i am facing.but as mentioned in the note there are no dumps with the user XIRWBUSER.can you tell me further what needs to be done.

Ram,

In XI --> SM59 , check if AlertDestination and the user entered in this . In St22, check for the dumps with this user id.

or, make the user id as * as then check if there is any dump.
