Queues in XI are running but not processing messages

Former Member

This is Idoc-XI-File scenario. Idoc packaging is used. As we send almost 5k Idocs they used to process faster initially and the performance gone down considerably and it now process sooo Slow. Do I have to clear any cache. Our DBAs are working to allocate more disk space but meanwhile is there anything as a Developer I can do to process these mesasge quickly?.

One of several entries in SM58 says

""No conenct to database. .session terminated "

Thanks.

Hi,

I think, you need to check the no.of connections, no. of workprocesses etc.. May be because of huge volume of message processing

This SAP note may help you - 924524

Hi,

But I did not come acrossed this

Try to increase the Virtual memory.

1) Go to Transaction /nSMQR, Where we can find the Queues and Schedule Status, check out there.

Scheduler, Queues are running but messages were held up in SMQ2. I deregistered and reregistered queues and activated them. Still no movement in Queue processing.

Hi,

Please can you check in Transaction SMICM

Goto--> Display connection.

YOu can check the connection here and see if the system is overloaded.

Hi,

Similary I too faced the Problem, Try for SLD Cache refresh,

To clear the SLD cache, from the Integration Builder main menu, choose Environment ® Delete Cache for SLD Data.

Once we have deleted the cache for SLD data, accessing objects in the SLD may take longer than usual initially.

Did you tried this option,

Transaction code : SXI_CACHE

Go to menu

XI Runtime Cache -> Start Complete Cache refresh.

Thanks & Regards
