I have installed ABAP Web As - 2004s on my laptop.

I want to intall JAVA Web AS as well. How ever, when I try to install the JAVA Web AS,

It is failing with the following Error:

FSL-02077 File system export (share) saploc does not exist.

it happens after I agree the licence, enter the right JDk version and enter the Permissions file.

I am running on XP Home Edition,

No Fire walls running

No Anti Virus software [ infact I uninstalled it]

No Ports are in use [as per Pre Reqs]

User has the Administrator access

Any insights ... Please ...

Hi,

You could try to create the folder <INSTALL_DRIVE>:\usr\sap manually and share this folder as "saploc" with write permissions for the "<sid>adm" user. If the user does not exist, grant permissions for everyone to write to this folder during the installation time and change it afterwards.

Hope this helps,

Klaus

Hi Mike,

Why do you want to do this or what exactly do you want to do?

Sharing folders can be accomplished through the explorer by:

left-click the folder->Sharing and Security ...

Klaus

Hi Vivek:

<b>File system export (share) saploc does not exist</b>

Means that the share is missing, one of the pre-installation steps is create the installation folders and the shares...

folder sap (<drive>:\usr\sap) must be shared as <b>saploc</b> and sapmnt

Hope this help
