Missing parameter in Communication Channel Template import

Question (from ISV):

I did a successful import of the SWC. I also use channel templates in my Integration Scenario. The one thing I noticed is that the parameters for the System Number and Password were set in the RFC channel template; However, they are not transported over to the Integration Directory when I use the wizard to generate the Integration Scenario. The channel is created but these two parameters are missing and I have to go back and update them after the Integration Scenario is generated. It looks to me that this is the way it is to work for RFC Receiver Channels. Can you comment on this?

Answer (from ICC consultant):

Actually, that makes a lot of sense to me. Once you export this XI-CNT and sell it to another company.  They will import the XI-CNT into their system.  Upon running the wizard, what’s the likelihood that they would have “your” SID and “your” PWD matched up against their SAP XI?

In all communication channels all specific information are not filled and it should work like that.
