Are SDN Forums based on NetWeaver technology?

Hello,

I like to hold up SDN as a good example of NetWeaver technologies. However, I was recently told that the SDN Forums are not NetWeaver, but a third party solution. Can someone verify this? What other parts of SDN are not NetWeaver capabilities? I would like to be able to say SDN is 100% SAP?

Thanks,

Kurt

Hi Kurt,

you're right, the software behind SDN discussion forums is not NetWeaver technology. It's Jive: http://www.jivesoftware.com

Thanks Gregor,

Do you know of other 3rd party solutions within SDN?

What does this mean for the Powered by NetWeaver stamp?

Kurt

Hello Kurt,

the Basis of SDN is rearly NetWeaver. And what SAP shows with SDN is that you can integrate 3rd party solutions steamless into NetWeaver.
