What is development component?
How can I identify whether its a Portal Project
or WD or DC project?What is the difference?
How do i decide when to use it?
Is there any configuration difference?
what about the licrary ?SHould I configure all these again and copy jar files to all PC

A Development component is part of the NetWeaver Development Infrastructur(NWDI). If you use NWDI, (what you should do, if you want to develop productive applications in a team) you create a DC of type Web Dynpro. You can integrate a Web Dynpro Application to the Portal.
