SAP Insurance

Hi All.

I have a friend who is into Insurance field.

He wants to jump into SAP Insurance. I have no idea about this area of SAP.

Can someone please shed some info like what courses he can take, or under which module does Insurance come?

Any clues would be very helpful as I am totally clueless

Here u will find SAP for Insuarance. From there u can get HTML help on various version from there.

It comes under FSCD module (Financial Services Collection & Disbursement).

This is part of FI.

Correction:

Insurance Industry Specific solution contains following sub modules.:

FS-CM Claims Mgmt.

FS-PM Policy Mgmt.

FS-CD Collection & disbursement

FS-RI Re-Insurance

CD - Brings concept of Sub Ledger and hence increases performance on FI.
