Hello All,
I am configuring my setting in mi client but i can't get my device id , will any one tell me the <b>importance and how i can able to get this id.</b>

hi VenuGopal,
The device id is given by the MI Server upon successful synchronization with the server.
to get a device id, do the follwoing
1. start the MI Client from your Desktop shortcut (not from your NWDS).
2. Logon with the existing user (or a new User). This user must exist in the Middleware (MI Server).
3. Click on the synchronize button (if AWT Client) or the icon (in the case of Tomcat runtime).
4. Enter the WebAS password for the user. This is the sync password.
5. On successful synchronization you get a device id.
I'm saying these steps assuming you've configured your MI Server according the respective configuration guide available from the service market place.

i tried ,but i created new user in client side,and i tried u r steps but still no device id ........
as a result after syschronization i am geting
Synchronization Log
Synchronization started.
Connection set up (without proxy) to: http://cbrindnw:50000/meSync/servlet/meSync?~sysid=00&;
Successfully connected with server.
Processing of inbound data began.
Received empty inbound container file for user (SHARED)
Received empty inbound container file for user VENU
this was the message i got could u please find what this message mean.
