to add a new window in a standard layout

hai all,

can we add a new window in a sap standard layout,means in MEDRUCK i want to add a new window and display some data.i have already copied MEDRUCK into zmedruck and tried to inser t a new window,but in the EDIT menu the create option for creating a new window is not enabled.so plz tell me how to add new window in the standard layout and how to modify its relavant print program.

Hi,

after copying the standard one into zprogram.

go inside that form,

click on <b>WINDOWS</b> tab

then click on the menu 'EDIT'->CREATE ELEMENT

there give a name for the new window and DESCRiption

window is created

now click on <b>PAGE WINDOWS</b> tab

and assign your window on required page

for that again EDIT-.CREATE ELEMENT menu item

you will get the new window name along with the main window

double click on it

it is assigned to the page

Hi Bharath,

1. After giving the name of Zmedruck, enter into the script in some other language for ex- DE.

2. Then enter into the form in change mode and then in the form, goto utilities-convert to original language and give there as EN and come back.

3. Now enter into the form by giving the language as EN.

Hello Bharath,

you can do that only if you make a modification of the

sap system. but this is not the recommended way. make a

copy of the formular medruck name it z_medruck and you

can make what ever you want. in the transaction spro make

the assignement to the printing program.
