What is Xapps and how it is related to XI

About your other question:
an ESR ( enterprise services repository) is central to xApps, and XI enables ESR.

Hi,
Integration Server Consists of
1. Integration Engine
2. BPE
3. Adapter Engine.
1 and 2 runs on the ABAP stack and 3 runs on the J2EE stack.
Basically, Integration Server is the commbination of ABAP and J2EE stack with each ahving its own f'nalities.
