Hi Manish

It seems your SLD hasnt been registered onto the SAP gateway.

Have you setup your Data Supplier Bridge properly

check this post

Please make sure you have done the following.

SAP R/3 COnfiguration:

Get the gateway info from "smgw" transaction. click Menu option GoTo->Paramaters->Display . look for Gateway Hostname and Gateway Service values. Enter them in RZ70 SLD Bridge: Gateway Information.

SLD Configuration:

Data Supplier Bridge. In RFC Gateway give the complete domain name of the Gateway Server(you can lookup the hostname if you know the Ip address of the gateway. it should be something like IGATESAP05.xx.xx.com, otherwise it doesnt work). for Gateway Service , same info that you have provided in RZ70.

I didn't really solve the problem. I was able to get the Sneak Peak on DVD and with that installation I did not have the problem anymore.

I also had the following configurations:

SLD Data Supplier Bridge

Gateway server – R/3 system name Ex: sclhp13

Service:sapgw00

Visual Administrator: RFC Settings Tab

Gateway Host: localhost

Gateway Service/Port: sapgw00

Run transaction RZ70

Host: localhost

Server: sapgw00

That is what I thought but it still doesn't work. I can logon to the R/3 system with that username/password combo. I even tried all caps. Still no luck.

Do you have solution to the original question posted as well?

I am getting the same error and I have done exactly what the post Pran refered to and what Sujatha have said to do and it still gives me the same error.

And another question just to ask. I am setting up the JCO connection in web dynpro and i am not sure what username and password to use under the security step. Any ideas?

Thank you

Hi laura

This user name and password would be the same as your sap R/3 system user name and password. If your running WebAS - SP11, ensure that you type the password in Capital letters irrespective of the case otherwise it will say "Incorrect username and password"

I hope that would have clarified your doubt.
