Hi,
I use transaction sm59 to create a REFC-Destination to a R3/System.
So I get following error:
Error: partner not reached (destination ip)
Location: SAP-Gateway on host (IP-address of host) /sapgw00
Detail: nicpconnect2
With sapgui I can login to the R3/System.
Can anybody help me please??
Thanks.
Regards
Stefan
HI,
First of all what type of RFC destination you are using ?
Check the logon parameters in the SM59
Also check the host details(IP address) , system no.. gateway service etc...
Check this help for different connection types:

Hello Stefan,
it could be a user rights thing. Do you use a different user for the rfc connection, try to find out if it has RFC rights?
Otherwise make shure that target host and system number are correct on the technical settings tab (sm59).
On the Logon/security tab set trusted system to NO enter the logon information be shure to use the client user en password. Try remote logon.
hope this will work.

Hi Stefan,
The sapgw00 is the general format for messaging server. where last two digits are the system number of the R/3 system.

Hi Stefan,
Do you have a firewall in between or it might be a network problem.
