Hi,
We are running on SRM 4.0.When we add items to the SC,we get the foll error:
"Product xxxx does not exist in plant yyyy or it has been flagged for deletion".
Can anybody tell what could be the problem?I have checked all the Plant related seetings in Customization and the ORG structure.
Please help.this is urgent.

Try to run the report BBP_PRODUCT_SETTINGS_MW, there you select user as SRM instead of CRM and select service product active.

Hi Disha,
The productid requires to be aligned with the R/3 material master. So if you have created R/3 material masters using internal number ranges and the MARA-MATNR field is still defined to be 18 characters length, then your product id will have to look something like 00000000000456789(for example).
Also, if you didn't replicate the product master from R/3 to SRM , please don't forget to flag "Do not check product" in the catalog SPRO.

Did you check in your R/3 or ECC backend that the material exist for the plant defined in your SRM SC.
Check also that there is no deletion flag.
