SSL is active for smtp on our outlook server....plain login not supported

Hi Everyone,

I am using mail adapter to send mail, but facing the following problem.

SSL is active for smtp on the outlook server which i am using.

When i am trying to test the scenario, i am getting the error as "Plain login not supported".

Without outlook are there any other means of using mail receiver adapter for sending mails.

Please give some solutions

This might help you

SXMB_ADM -> Integration Engine Configuration -> Specific Configuration -> switch to edit -> new entries

Category = RUNTIME

Parameters = LOGGING_SYNC

Sub = (none)

Value = 1

Hi,

I am getting the following error in channel monitoring

failed to send mail: java.io.IOException: server does not support PLAIN or LOGIN authentication

Hi rahul,

Ckeck the authentication method suported for the SSL on u r smtp , u will have to use same authentication method in u r receiver mail adapter.

I guess the receiver mail adapter supports only plain authentication.

How can i use the authentication method supported for the

SSL on my smtp in my receiver mail adapter.
