Not able to start webgui transactions

hello,

I have installed ITS 6.4d and while starting the webgui service,i am getting the error "use the latest sapgui version".

Is this an ITS error or sapgui frontend error?plz help.

You said that you installed ITS 6.4D. Are you sure that wasn't 4.6D. If it was 4.6D, that is too old a version. R/3 4.7 is running on WebAS 620 and would require the 620 version of the ITS. That would seem to match up with the error message you are getting.

There is no standalone version of the ITS greater than 620. The only 640 version of the ITS is the itegrated WebAS one, and you could not have installed that on a R/3 4.7 since the version of the WebAS would be incorrect.
