Test JDI - How?

Hi , Our team wants to develope few Webdynpro programs and so our company has Installed JDI for our team. . So I would like to test JDI wherether it was installed successfully. Could some one help me how to test JDI and what are the features to be tested. Helpfull URLs or documents and related information would be appreciated.
